USAFL

Aussie Rules USA is working in conjunction with the USAFL to grow the sport in the USA.

Since the first game between Cincinnatti and Louisville in 1996, the game has expanded to over 30 senior clubs and 2,000 players across the USA.

The United States Australian Football League (also known informally as US Footy) was established in 1997 as the governing body for Australian football in the USA.

Its major role is to coordinate the annual National Championships, which attract teams from all over the USA. The competition consists of 4 men’s divisions and a women’s division, each culminating in a Grand Final to decide the winner.

The National Senior Team, the American Revolution, has also competed at the 2002, 2005 & 2008 International Cups in Melbourne, finishing 5th, 3rd and 7th respectively.
